Your item is made from a real silver spoon. YES, it's real silver. It will tarnish, that's why I include a silver polishing cloth with all items purchased from me. Just rub your new piece with the polishing cloth until it shines. Your cloth will start to get black. Do NOT wash it or get it wet. Just keep using it as is. It has lots of polishes left in it.

Can you get your actual silver creation wet?? YES. They are all made from spoons and forks and have been in a sink full of dish soap many times.
